The next NonfictioNOW conference will take place next June 2-4 in Reykjavik. Anna Forne (U. of Gothenburg) and Kim Adrian (Brown U.) are proposing a panel for that conference that will discuss the intersection between life-narrative and the internet. They are particularly interested in the way the internet provides tremendous resources for writers of life narrative (in terms of photographs and biographical records, for example) and, at the same time, has spawned a wide range of unprecedented life narrative platforms in the form of blogs and social media outlets. They are looking for two more participants who have explored this particular intersection. The panel will be discussion based—no papers or abstracts. The proposal deadline is 8/31.
